What's in the kit

  • The emission control unit: filterless electrostatic module (CarbonFree ESP) or catalyst plus particulate module (Advanced Catalyst+).
  • Exhaust connection pieces and mounting frame for your DG set.
  • Control and power electronics, with monitoring and fault alerts.
  • Sensors for temperature and pressure.
  • Documentation: certificate copy, installation record and test report.

Installation steps

  • Site survey and engine data collection.
  • Kit matched to the approved capacity range and exhaust layout.
  • Mounting and exhaust connection.
  • Commissioning and emission testing.
  • Handover of compliance documents, then AMC.

Downtime

Most of the work happens around the generator. The DG set only needs to stop for connection and commissioning. We plan this with you so backup power isn't left uncovered.

Frequently asked questions

Does the kit include filters?

The CarbonFree ESP kit is filterless, so there are no filters to replace. The Advanced Catalyst+ kit combines a catalyst with particulate control.

Can the kit be fitted to any DG brand?

Kits are matched to the engine and capacity. We confirm fit for your brand and model during the survey.

What does an RECD kit cost?

Price depends on capacity, device type and site work. See our RECD price guide for the main factors, or ask for a quote.
